I am going to Anime Iowa in 9 days, and I actually registered for artist alley. I didn't hear back from them for a while. After 4 un-answered e-mails, the fifth one got a response! Yay! I was told I should be receiving confirmation soon. Well have to see :p. Anyway, I have always wanted to do artist alley. Cosplay is my #1 activity at cons, but I just wanted to try something new (I'll still be cosplaying, tho :p). I am looking forward to meeting lots of people! I'll just be selling a few prints and a couple of hand-made items. I'll also let people know I can take up a cosplay commssion or two~ :D I am also in the process of filling out some

Costumes

0 min read
It took me a while to figure just how to make another journal entry, which just goes to show how often I post entries in this thing. I know it was just a relatively recent addition to deviantart, and I thought about it a lot. I see my 2-D artwork as completely seperate from my cosplay work, but there are so many times where they've come together to help me improve my skills in both mediums. So, I've decided to start post pictures of the costumes I've made. I'm a hardcore cosplayer, and I think it's about time ^_^.  I'm not going to post every single costume I've made (I've made about 33 costumes, and I'm currently working on #34), but I'll

I wonder if I should put some pics up where I modeled for some photographer. Would those count as deviations? Anyway, school and cosplay has eaten me alive, and the only time I've really posted anything is when I've done something in class, which is pretty lame. I really need to practice and improve my skills. I'm going to Ohayocon at the beginning of January, and while I'm not signed up for the artist alley, I'm on the waiting list. :anael: and I will be sharing a table if we can end up getting our hands on one. On the chance that I might be doing artist alley, I decided I would make a few new pieces, in addition to the few I have. I've go

Hi I noticed that you cosplayed Searas Victoria from Hellsing ^^ (great job by the way ;p)
I'm cosplaying her with a group of friends next year and i was wondering if you used a pattern for yours. I'm a beginner with sewing and i have no clue how I'm going to do Seraras outfit so i was wondering if you had any sort of design or advice for me ^^
It would be much appreciated ^^
Thanks
-Zee
do you make your cosplay costumes? where do you get the patterns??
you should do tutorials~
Hey, you should upload some of your photography!!!
Please help me catch an art thief! Go to this gallery: [link] The cosplay photos have been taken from other cosplay websites, but the gallery owner is displaying them without giving credit to the original artists. The problem is, I don't know who the original artists are, and so I can't make a proper complaint to deviantART. Every time I tell the person to give credit to the original artists, she removes the photos-- BUT SHE RE-POSTS THEM A FEW HOURS LATER! If you can identify the original artists, please make a complaint about this person! And if not, please spread the word so that other people can help! Art theft is not cool!
cool pics like your art style also
Hey Anne, it's Amanda. I'm adding you if you don't mind!
